How it all started

Horizons Dental Centre was established in October 1999 by Dr.Shamsi and his team. Having graduated in 1994 from the Royal London Hospital, he worked for 5 years learning the skills of general practice before setting up his own practice.
 
Since he has been involved very closely with the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate dental education,he has always had a passion to give something back to his profession. He has mentored many trainee dentists since their graduation; some of whom have continued to develop their postgraduate studies.

He has always instilled an ethos of continual learning and development and involved his staff fully in this pathway. He continues to train, mentor, lecture and examine in addition to running an efficient practice.

The Practice has achieved the BDA Good Practice Scheme Silver award now in its 11th year, a prestigious award highlighting continuous good practice in the profession.
